The SunPy Project is pleased to announce the latest release of sunpy, version 7.1.
In this major release new features include:
- SOLARNET Support
- Added support for new observatories
- Fido.search will now continue on error
- Preserving the observation time of a map when reprojecting
There are also plenty of bug fixes, documentation improvements, and several removals of deprecated functionality.

To update you can run either:
“pip install --upgrade sunpy” (for pip users)
“conda update sunpy” (for conda users)
