The SunPy Project is pleased to announce the release of 7.0.0rc1.
It has major changes to how sunpy returns the results from the HEK, several changes to how Map over plots aligned images (much faster now), new map sources and more listed here: What’s New in sunpy 7.0? — sunpy 7.0.0rc1 documentation
If you want to try it out, you can do pip install -U --pre sunpy to install it into your current environment.
A conda-forge RC will come out later.
