Hello everyone,
My name is Subhajit Bhattacharjee and I am an undergraduate student interested in contributing to OpenAstronomy for Google Summer of Code.
I have experience with Python and C++, and I am currently exploring the Astropy project. I am particularly interested in the idea related to improving Astropy’s core stability and would like to start contributing by working on beginner issues.
I am currently reading the contributor documentation and setting up the development environment. I would appreciate any guidance on good first issues or areas where new contributors can help.
