Hello everyone!
My name is Srividhya Ganesan, and I am a second-year student pursuing IT Engineering with a minor in Data Science.
I have been exploring the OpenAstronomy projects and am really impressed by the work done here. I have a background in Python (NumPy/Matplotlib), Javascript , ReactNative and C++, and I’ve previously worked on a small personal project using the NASA API.
I’m looking to start my open-source journey here. I am particularly interested in Astropy and its low-level modules. Could someone point me toward some beginner-friendly issues or documentation areas where a newcomer like me could help out?
