I am trying to use the Phoenix Stellar models, but would like to resample/rebin the models to a lower resolution. I have been trying to use the pysynphot package but I am having trouble figuring out how to first make sure that the Phoenix models on my computer are called correctly. Then, I would like to resample the spectra down to a resolution of 2000. If anyone has an example of how to do this, not necessarily with the Phoenix models, but other spectra, this would be really helpful!
