in: pip install synphot
out: syntax error
Hello!
I know it’s possible to install Python packages from inside an IPython terminal, but can you run that command in a terminal instead?
Would it also be possible to get the details of the syntax error?
Based on that, that it should work no problem.
Cheers,
Nabil
Yesterday it did not work.
Today it works.
!? Dumbfounded. Cheers.
Hello. I just saw this and glad you figured things out. For future reference, feel free to open issue at Issues · spacetelescope/synphot_refactor · GitHub or send a help call to hsthelp.stsci.edu for problems regarding the synphot Python package.
If you encounter error again, a full traceback would be very helpful. Thanks!
ok, thanks. plenty of help then.
