2025 CoCo Election: Timothy Pickering

I am honored to have been nominated to be a member of the Coordination Committee. I have been involved with AstroPy at least peripherally since its inception. Over the past decade I have been more directly involved and am one of the original maintainers of the specreduce affiliated package. I have been a regular attendee of coordination meetings in recent years. I am also active in the astropy slack and have been involved with other activities such as the original migration to GitHub Actions. In addition to these internal perspectives, I also have an external perspective as a long-time user that utilizes AstroPy heavily in production systems at a major observatory. I think that balance of perspectives would help me be a valuable member of the Coordination Committee.
