I am honoured to be nominated for the Coordination Committee.

My involvement with Astropy started with writing the MAST module in Astroquery, and grew from there. I am now one of the three Astroquery maintainers and an active member of the Astropy community. I participate in Astropy telecons when I can and coordination meetings always, coordinating the Astropy Roadmap committee thrice. I am a former software engineer and current PhD student, and as such I am committed to increasing awareness of and support for graduate students engaging with open source communities.

As a current PhD student I will bring to the committee direct experience with the earliest career researchers.
